The old man and him crying next to a tank made me pick this photo it looked interesting. The picture was taken from a long view perspective. It made the top 40 because it catched the old man crying next to a tank he spent most of the war in.

This picture is really meaningful and filled with joy but then again sorrow, thats how it made the 40 best. They took this picture up close. The baby surrounded by soldiers and all the destruction made me pick this photo.

The thing that makes the photo be in the 40 greatest picture is the dogs loyalty for its owner. I like how the dog stay with the owner even though, the owner has past away. They set up this photo by taking it from a top view.
